Caitlyn Jenner is worth hundreds of millions in endorsement

According to new reports, Caitlyn Jenner is five times more valuable than Bruce Jenner.

From TMZ
Caitlyn Jenner is a hotter commodity than Bruce Jenner ever was ... especially on the speaking circuit. Sources who worked for years on booking speaking gigs for Bruce tell TMZ, Caitlyn is worth 5 times what Bruce commanded. Our sources say Bruce used to get $25,000 a pop for motivational speaking ... and they say Caitlyn can pull well over $100k. There's a big reason Caitlyn is a hotter commodity ... social media. Bruce hated social media and wouldn't play ball. A lot of the companies that hire motivational speakers are big into social, and Caitlyn is fully on board and breaking records. Another obvious reason for the bump ... Caitlyn has quite the story to tell.

All hell breaks loose in Lagos Island

Some hoodlums, suspected to be working for a political party in Lagos State, have killed five people in the Ajah area of the state.

The victims were said to be coming from a naming ceremony when the assailants ambushed the bus, and opened fire on them.
The assailants also entered the vehicle and used cutlasses and knives to slit the throats of some of the occupants.
The deceased were identified as Ganiyu Lawal, aka Ebe; Idris Kolapo; Samsudeen Osoja, aka Songa; Rafiu, aka Ralph; and Ladi.
In the attack which happened on Wednesday, Songa's head was cut off..
It was gathered that five others, who sustained injuries during the onslaught, escaped by a whisker.
The matter was reported at the Ajiwe police station.
Investigations revealed that the deceased and survivors were working with the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Oyebanji branch, Lagos Island, Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle (aka Seego).
When Okepopo Street on Lagos Island was visited, where the deceased had their base, there was palpable tension in the community.
Residents said the area had been in turmoil as some hoodlums in the area had been hunting people suspected to be involved in the killings.
Houses belonging to the Olokodana family on Palm Church Street were torched by the miscreants.
Also, a building and a lock-up shop belonging to one Tunde, aka Alabi Yellow, who was alleged to be an informant of the gang, was invaded by the hoodlums who burnt some of the property.
A resident, who chose anonymity, said trouble started on Sunday when Seego and the leader of a rival gang, Tunde (Alabi Yellow), met at a social gathering, where Seego asked Yellow to bow to him to which the latter refused.
It was gathered that Seego ordered his boys to deal with Yellow by breaking a bottle on his head.
The source said, “We have factions and unions on the Lagos Island and they usually engage one another in superiority clashes. Two people were killed during the electioneering period as the political parties polarised them.
“The rivalry was later settled after Ambode won the election. A man, popularly called Seego, later came to the area for a social function. During the event, he sighted Yellow and asked him to bow to him. Men the latter refused, he became angry and ordered his boys to deal with him.
“Yellow was beaten and his clothes torn by Songa, who works for Seego.”
Another source, Pepe John, said Yellow left and promised to revenge the assault and disgrace on his person.
He said, “On Wednesday, the wife of one of the boys in Ajah had a naming ceremony and about 10 guys from Okepopo went there to party.
“As they left after the party, a group of boys shot at their vehicle. They entered the bus and started slashing their throats.”
A source said the attackers cut off the head of Samsudeen (Songa), who allegedly smashed a bottle on Yellow’s head at a social gathering.
He said they took the head away with them, but left the other corpses.
Our correspondents were told that one of those hit, Tope Bullet, escaped because the attackers thought he was dead. A few other persons were also said to have escaped.
It was gathered that the survivors returned to their base and reported to their colleagues what befell them.
A source said the victims identified their alleged attackers to include Tunde Yellow, Small Kuramo, Sharon, Abbas, Olokodana, Ade, Ibafo John, Orji Mass, Baba Raji and one Ejo Ilaje.
A resident, John Otombo, said more than 100 hoodlums invaded the street on Thursday, searching for the men for their alleged involvement in the killings.
He said they headed for the Olokodana family house, and set some property there on fire.
He said, “They came to the family house around 10am. They shot into the air. They didn’t meet anybody in the house. So, they took some valuables and set them on fire.
“They went to Yellow’s wife’s shop and brought out all the goods there. They damaged them and went to the house and set their household furniture and property on fire.”
Traders on Odunfa, Onola, Oyebanji, Adeniji Adele, Evans, Atiko and adjacent streets were seen packing their goods and locking up their shops.
A tailor, who spoke, said they lived in fear.
She said, “They said they would come back and burn down our houses. We are living in fear. We just want the government to clear all these street gangs.”
A trader, who did not identify herself, blamed security agents for being slack in responding to their distress calls.
“It was after the hoodlums had destroyed things that the police came today (Thursday). The unfortunate part of the story is that they started arresting innocent people,” she said.
A tricycle driver, who also did not identify himself, told our correspondents he would not be sleeping in his house.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the incident.
He, however, said only two people died.
He said, “Armed hoodlums shot at a moving vehicle and two persons were fatally injured, while three others sustained injuries.”
The Lagos State Chairman of the NURTW, Chief Tajudeen Agbede, said he was aware of the incident, adding that it did not happen in any motor park.
He said, “The police are already involved in this case. What I always tell our members is to mind their public conduct and not bring disgrace to the union. Whenever anything like this happen outside the motor parks, I choose not to comment.”

5yr old boy kidnapped in Lagos, found in Ogun (no one has claimed him yet)

Abraham Adeyemi, a five-year-old boy pictured above, believed to have been kidnapped in Lagos has been found in Ogun State. Abraham was found loitering in front of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Imedu Nla, Mowe, in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area in Ogun state on Sunday April 26th and brought to the Nigerian Union of  Journalists secretariat, Iwe Iroyin, Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta by the state police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi yesterday April 27th.

During a brief interrogation, Abraham said he was taken away from his area by some people who promised to take him to Mr Biggs
"They told me that we were going to Mr. Biggs"he said
According to Punch, Abraham said he is a nursery one pupil of the New Way Nursery and Primary School here in Lagos and that his mother sells recharge card in their area. The state Police spokesperson, Mr Ajetobi said they have not been able to make any contact with the boy's family because he has not been able to give the names of his parents
"The police found him on Sunday at the Foursquare Gospel Church, Imedu Nla, Mowe. We suspected that Adeyemi must have been kidnapped in Lagos and dumped here in Ogun State. This is because the boy kept telling the police that he lives in Canal; and we all know that canals are common in Lagos. We are not sure whether any ransom has been demanded. The boy is currently with us.” he said

If anyone knows the boy...please let his family know...

Response to Bode George - No Apology By Tinubu media office

PDP chieftain Bode George did an interview with Punch recently where he claimed the APC leader apologized to him. Tinubu says he never did. Read the press statement below...
I was informed about a recent interview by Bode George in one of the national dailies and felt it necessary to clarify his claim that I begged him for forgiveness. I don’t know when and how I ever offended Mr.George. I have never wronged the man or even thought of it. I sought no forgiveness because no forgiveness was needed.
I think somehow he is still trying to implicate me as instigating the criminal proceedings once lodged against him. From my recollection, Mr. George was found guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction based on convincing evidence of wrongdoing. He insults the judiciary by implying that his conviction was wrongly derived.
Mr. George seeks to imbue me with more power than I could possibly have. I am flattered but in all humility I must protest the false assessment. If he can remember, the government of the day was that of the PDP. I have never had nor sought much influence in those circles. He was charged by the government ruled by his own party for an offence concerning financial irregularities at the Nigeria Port Authority, NPA, an appointment he received from that same government. It is an incredible tale indeed to state that somehow I could direct a party that tried to dismantle the progressive political structure of my party to bring down one of its key members.
The more plausible explanation for his legal tribulation was that a member of his own cabal blew the whistle on Mr. George’s antics for reasons that only he and that person truly know.  The rest is now history.
I believe he was convicted of “ Invoice Splitting” a violation of financial regulations. This malpractice is a deliberate circumvention of the law so that the culprit may approval expenditures above his mandated authority to do so and without proper oversight.
In the end, it was Mr. George’s own hand and actions that led to his incarceration more than anything I could ever have done.
Mr. George claims the alleged apology was made at the burial of Chief Alao Arisekola. On that date, personalities such as Oba Otudeko and Governor Ajimobi approached me because I did not greet Mr. George initially. They pleaded that, in the memory of the man we were all gathered to honor, I should greet Mr. George.  At their request, I turned back and came to greet him by saying “Good Afternoon  Egbon”. That was all.
If  Mr. George wishes to interpret that as an apology, he has the right to do so. I also have the right to state categorically that no apology was made or even intended.
I think   he is trying to find a way to walk back from his election hyperbole that he would go on exile if the APC won the Lagos State governership election.  He realizes that Lagos under the APC is a very good place to live afterall. If he wants to remain in Lagos, he does not have to manufacture an excuse or explain away his bad words. Neither the APC nor I have any aims against him.  In the election, the people rejected his party and his brand of politics. That is enough for us. We move on to greater progress.  We have no time or inclination to trouble ourselves by troubling Bode George. Any trouble he is experiencing is a product of his own mind.

Heavily pregnant Kate Middleton who is 4 days overdue still drives herself

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton who was due this past Saturday April 25th, was seen driving herself and her son Prince George and what appeared to be his nanny, Maria Borrallo, who was in the back seat, out of Buckingham palace with up to 5 bodyguards in tow.

She carefully drove her Range Rover past the ten-deep crowd waiting at the gates and they cheered when they saw the car going onto the palace forecourt.
The Duchess parked her vehicle discreetly around the side of the palace in order to get George from the car and left around an hour and a half later.
Meanwhile, a lot of fans of the royal family have camped in several hotels near and outside the private Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington where the Duchess is due to give birth. They are eagerly awaiting the birth of the couple's 2nd child who is going to be 4th to the throne regardless of its sex.
At about 9 am yesterday morning, Kate and her Husband Prince Williams surprised the fans by sending members of staff from the royal household to personally deliver ten cups of coffee and two boxes containing four croissants, two Danish pastries, an apple turnover and fruit bun. The two boxes of pastries and croissants were wrapped in pink ribbon, leading those desperately awaiting the royal baby’s birth to speculate it could be a girl.

A Kensington Palace spokesman confirmed that the breakfast surprise had indeed come from the couple themselves.
‘The Duke and Duchess have seen the news reports about these people camping out and they just wanted to let them know they were thinking of them,’ they said.

Photos: Drug convicts executed in Indonesia buried

Indonesia disregarded last-minute appeals and executed 8 drug traffickers including 4 Nigerians. Pictures of the dead being buried and details from their last minutes before being executed have been released to the media. According to the pastors who were with them in their final hours, Andrew Chan, Myuran Sukumaran and the other 6 death row inmates declined to wear blindfolds and were singing as they were shot by a 13-member firing squad in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The 8 men chose to face their executioners and spent their last minutes on earth praising God and singing songs which included 'Amazing Grace'.

On Wednesday morning, Pastor Christie Buckingham - who read Chan and Sukumaran their last rites - said the 8 death row inmates walked out onto the killing field singing religious songs in the moments before they were executed. Pastor Buckingham said the men conducted themselves with 'dignity and strength until the end'. Another pastor, Karina de Vega, said it was a 'beautiful experience'.
