16yr old robs, rapes 52yr old woman, says her naked body turned him on
According to Tribune, the police said that Abdulateef, the first son of his parents, broke into the woman's home late at night, threatened her with a weapon and demanded she bring out all the money she had at home. He took about N16,500 from her and then asked her to lie down so he could have sex with her. He lied to the woman that he had his gang outside her home who would come in if she didn't obey him. Out of fear, the woman who was alone at home that night, agreed and he proceeded to rape her...
Unknown to him, the woman had recognized him as her neighbors teenage son. The next morning, she called her husband to tell him what had happened, and the husband immediately reported the case at the Ajuwon police station. Abdulateef was immediately arrested.
When interrogated, he blamed evil spirits for his actions
"I am in SSS 1 at a high school in Ogun State. I live at Lambe area, Ajuwon with my parents. I am the first born and I have three younger ones. On January 18, 2015, at about 1a.m., I went to my neighbour’s house to rob and rape. I never knew she recognised me. I have never carried out robbery before that day. I don’t know made me do it but I believe I was propelled by an evil spirit. I entered through the main door which was usually not locked. The residence was uncompleted. I met the woman sleeping. She was naked as she slept and the sight aroused me. I woke her up and asked her to bring all the money she had. I was holding a rod and I told her that my other gang members were outside, threatening her to cooperate or she would be dealt with. She handed over N16,500 to me, after which I ordered to lie on the bed. I climbed her and had sex with her. After about five minutes, I stood up and left for my house. On the third day, the woman’s husband called me and warned me not to pass through his compound again as he wanted to sprinkle charms around his compound. I later saw policemen who were brought to arrest me. I confessed to my parents. I used N5,000 to buy a phone but it was not good so I returned it. I used the remaining to eat and entertain friends.” he said. While confirming the case, the state police spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said as soon as the judicial workers in the state call off their strike, Abdulateef would be charged to court.

Reps Accuses Jonathan Of Aiding Budget Fraud, Says FG’s Annual Budget Is N20tn, Not N4.3tn
The
House of Representatives said it has uncovered what may turn out to be
Nigeria’s biggest fraud yet, accusing the Goodluck Jonathan
administration of spending N16 trillion on its super offices yearly,
while the entire country was run on a meagre budget of about N4
trillion.
The claim was made Sunday by the Public Accounts Committee of the House of Reps.
The committee said while the Nigerian government complains of revenue for key projects, the same government has allowed dozens of powerful offices, graded as “statutory and extra-ministerial departments”, to spend a minimum of N16 trillion yearly.
According to the committee, the amount spent by the offices are not regulated, audited or appropriated by the National Assembly.
Much of the figures are generated by the respective offices and are appropriated at the pleasure of their chief executives.
Such statutory offices include the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Central Bank of Nigeria, National Communications Commission, Federal Inland Revenue Services, and Nigerian Ports Authority.
The startling revelation came as part of an ongoing examination of finances of government and its 601 agencies, the House committee said.
The committee, which spoke through its chairman, Adeola Solomon-Olamilekan, on Sunday, said when combined with the country’s official annual expenditure, the country spends over N20 trillion annually.
Mr. Solomon-Olamilekan said the N4.3 trillion budget for 2015, amid an oil crisis, is a “far cry”, which does not include the finances of “statutory and extra ministerial departments” which have been running “about N16 trillion” without public auditing.
“The N4.9tn, N4.6tn or N4.3tn, as the case may be, is the budget that the whole Nigerians are listening to but in the true sense of it, the budget of other statutory and extra-ministerial departments put together is about N16tn”, he said.
“So, the total overall budget year in year out is over N20tn, which the executive arm operates, but nobody is asking questions as to the implementation of all these budgets.
“Nobody is bringing information on the implementation of all these budgets; and this is one area Nigerians need to start asking questions in order to move this country forward”, he said.
The committee said the federal government has encouraged the fraud to continue by deliberately refusing to fund the office of the Auditor General of the Federation, to weaken its capacity to check the violation.
It added that by reducing the budget of office of Auditor General from N1.9 billion to N100 million in 2015, the government deliberately ensured the office was starved of funds to enable it carry out proper audit of 601 departments and 144 foreign missions.
The big cut was carried out by the Ministry of Finance, citing falling oil revenues.
“How can we imagine that the capital budget of the office of AGF for the year 2015 was reduced from N1.9bn to N100?
“Can you also imagine an office of the AGF that has 144 foreign missions to audit and as we speak, between 1999 to date, that office has not audited up to 30 of these foreign missions while three quarter of these foreign missions are also revenue generating agencies?
“So, there is nobody to audit the revenue generated and the expenditure they incur.
“The office of the AGF has been short-changed and the budget has been reduced to nothing. As such, the government of the day is having a field day to carry out whatever its wants to do because they know they have an office that is not functioning”, Mr. Solomon-Olamilekan said.

Oh my! See what FFK wrote about Bola Tinubu & Lai Mohammed
"It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but rather Bola Tinubu that slurs when he speaks. It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but rather Bola Tinubu that has to take 20 pills before he can go out. It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but Bola Tinubu that his hands shake when he tries to lift his fork and knife and eat.
It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but rather the spokesman of the APC, Lai Mohammed, that is rotting from inside and that has the chronically bad breath of a rabid poll cat. Lai's breath is so bad that it is enough to knock out a polar bear from across the street.
It
is not Femi Fani-Kayode but rather Lai Mohammed who is suffering from
loose bowel movements and who defecates every other minute to the point
that he often has to wear pampers when he goes on long journeys.
So,
if anybody wants to talk about ill health. They should talk about
themselves and not about me. I repeat my name is Femi Fani-Kayode, and
nobody can kill me before my time. Nobody can cut me short.
I
harbor no fear of violence but I do not take threats lightly. Neither
do I fear for my life. Because I have never shed innocent blood and
because I do not believe in violence or worship the devil, the Angel of
the Lord will strike dead any person or any group of persons that seek
to take my life or the life of any of my loved ones.
This I decree in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the God whose I am and the God whom I serve”-Chief Femi Fani-Kayode

Photos: Celebs storm 'Late Night with Nike Oshinowo’ Season1 wrap party
The
curtains fell on Season One of ‘Late Night with
Nike Oshinowo’ at a swanky party held at the Moorhouse Sofitel late
evening, 266th Feb 2015. The beautifully lit poolside party glistened as
the
star of the night, Nike Oshinowo, glowed. With guests including members of Nike’s
company, AOE Events & Entertainment Ltd., the LNWNO production crew,
sponsors and partners – First Bank, Etisalat, Arik Air, Pernod Ricard, AIT and The
Lagos State Government (represented by the Honourable
Commissioner for Tourism & Intergovernmental Relations, Mr. Disun Holloway),
Nike glowed in the adulation.
Ms Oshinowo treated the audience to a jocular speech,
as champagne flowed. In typical fashion,
Nike was flawless, unruffled and beautiful to the eye. It was pure delight to watch the host do the
‘Shoki’ and take ‘Selfies’ with her guests.
The night was a well-deserved celebration of a
successful first season and an exclusive sneak-peek preview of Season Two which
premieres on Thursday, 5th March 2015 on AIT at 11:00pm.
