Mohammed Emwazi aka Jihadi John
A photo has finally emerged of the deadly ISIS executioner, Mohammed Emwazi who has appeared in several of the group's released footages.
The ISIS executioner is popularly referred to as Jihadi John and currently ranks as the most wanted man in the world.
Although his parents have bee identified, the couple have reportedly distanced themselves from him, claiming not to be associated with him. According to the duo, he tricked them into believing that he was a humanitarian aid worker in Syria.
Meanwhile, earlier today ISIS reportedly urged jihadists the world over to kill Twitter co-founder, Jack Dorsey. The veracity of this latest post however is currently under checks with law enforcement.

N.Korea set to strike US after warnings

North Korea leader, Kim Jong Un

North Korea’s foreign minister warned Tuesday Pyongyang had the power to conduct a “pre-emptive strike” on the United States, following joint US-South Korea military drills earlier this week.
Speaking before the UN Disarmament Conference in Geneva, Ri Su-yong said the military exercises that kicked off Monday were “unprecedentedly provocative in nature” and could spark a war.
“The DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) cannot but bolster its nuclear deterrent capability to cope with the ever-increasing nuclear threat of the US,” he said.
“Now the DPRK has the power of deterring the US and conducting a pre-emptive strike as well if necessary.”
The annual joint exercises always trigger a surge in military tensions and warlike rhetoric on the divided peninsula.
North Korea fired two short-range Scud missiles into the sea off its east coast on Monday, and South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported Tuesday that Pyongyang may be readying to test fire a medium-range missile.
Missile tests have long been a preferred North Korean method of expressing anger and displeasure with what it views as confrontational behaviour by the South and its allies.
Seoul and Washington insist the exercises are defence-based in nature, but they are regularly condemned by Pyongyang as provocative rehearsals for invasion.

555 PVCs Belong to Dead People in Ogun, says INEC

PVCs
PVCs
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ogun state has declared that it has discovered 555 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) belonging to dead people in the state.
The Commission stated that the PVCs had been set aside, noting that investigation was still ongoing with a view to knowing the actual figure of the people who had registered during the exercise, but are now deceased.
The figure of deceased persons was disclosed on Monday by the Ogun Resident Electoral Commission (REC) Chief Timothy Ibitoye during a press conference held at the Commission’s headquarters in Magbon area, along IBB Boulevard, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
Speaking on how the Commission discovered the number of PVCs belonging to deceased persons, Ibitoye explained that, it was discovered shortly after it had displayed the names of those that were yet to collect their PVCs.
According to him, “we are trying to make sure we have correct PVCs distribution. We have gone to all the local government from polling unit to polling unit to write out the names of those who have not collected their cards and during our investigation, they gave us the figure of those who are dead in all the local government areas of the state.
“We got it from our electoral officers and we have put their PVCs aside. That is how we were able to get the figure. We are still collating and by the time we are through, we will let you know the actual figure.
He noted that: “Community leaders also assisted us when they saw the list of those that are yet to collect their PVCs. They identified some of these names as deceased persons,” he explained.
Reacting to the conflicting reports over the registered voters and the number of the PVCs collected so far in the state and as well those distributed, the REC bluntly declared that: “the Commission in the state had received 1,370,340 and had distributed 860,076 PVCs.”
He further clarified the controversy surrounding the correct figure of the registered voters in the state. “The total number of registered voters in the state is 1,795,794 and not 1.829,534 as published by some newspapers.
“If we base the percentage of PVCs on registered voters, we have received 63 per cent, but, if we base it on the figure of the registered voters, it is 47 per cent. We are expecting 425,454 PVCs from Abuja and the PVCs yet to be collected as at date is 510,264,” he revealed.

FA Clears Wes Brown After Wrongful Dismissal

The Football Association (FA) has upheld Wes Brown’s claim of wrongful dismissal during Sunderland’s 2-0 defeat at Manchester United on Saturday.
Referee Roger East apparently dismissed Brown in error for obstructing a goal-bound attacking move, after United striker Falcao appeared to be dragged down by John O’Shea as the former also moved in to make a challenge.
The Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) had said the incident was not a case of mistaken identity after the game at Old Trafford, stressing: “East thought Brown made a foul on Falcao as he was in the act of shooting.”

First photos of Leonardo DiCaprio and Rihanna together

TMZ just obtained the first photos of Leonardo DiCaprio and Rihanna pictured together since news hit town that the A-listers are dating. The actor is pictured standing next to the singer at her birthday party two weeks ago. See the TMZ report after the cut...

Rihanna and Leo DiCaprio should be a perfect match -- neither's into settling down with one person for too long -- but now that they're banging ... one of them is way more committed than the other.
We got pics of RiRi and Leo getting cozy recently at her birthday party -- which he helped organize -- and sources at the bash tell us one thing was clear ... Rihanna's the clingy one.
We're told Leo is affectionate enough -- they engaged in plenty of PDA -- but he could barely get a moment to himself. As one source put it, "she's the baddest bitch in the party, but she's following him everywhere."
We're told they've been hooking up for about 3 months, but it's still not exclusive -- more like they're each other's first choice. Not that anyone's crying for either of them. #LeoProblems

Mo Ibrahim prize: Namibia President Pohamba gets $5m award

Hifikepunye Pohamba Hifikepunye Pohamba was a founding member of Namibia's Swapo liberation movement
The outgoing Namibian President Hifikepunye Pohamba has won the world's most valuable individual award, the Mo Ibrahim prize for African leadership.
The $5m (£3.2m) award is given each year to an elected leader who governed well, raised living standards and then left office.
But the previous award was the fourth in five years to have gone unclaimed.
Mr Pohamba, a former rebel who fought for his country's independence, has served two terms as Namibian president.
He was first elected in 2004, and again in 2009. He is due to be succeeded by President-elect, Hage Geingob.
Salim Ahmed Salim, the chairman of the committee that awarded the prize, said that under Mr Pohamba, Namibia had cemented its reputation as "a well-governed, stable and inclusive democracy with strong media freedom and respect for human rights".

Who is Hifikepunye Pohamba?
  • Born in 1935 in northern Namibia - a region that would become a base for the Swapo liberation movement
  • Educated by missionaries and employed in a copper mine as a young man
  • Co-founder of Swapo and close ally of Namibia's first President, Sam Nujoma
  • Jailed for political activism by South African-backed authorities, later left to study in the Soviet Union
  • Worked on land reform as minister in post-independence Namibia
  • Was chosen by Mr Nujoma to succeed him as president in 2004
  • Gradually emerged from Mr Nujoma's shadow as a soft-spoken consensus builder

A statement from the Namibian presidency said Mr Pohamba was "humbled by this gesture".
According to the statement, the president hoped to use the prize to advance the objectives of the Hifikepunye Pohamba foundation, which helps students from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education.
Mr Pohamba was a founding member of the South West Africa People's Organisation (Swapo), an armed movement that waged a decades-long campaign against South African rule.
Since the country won independence in 1990, Swapo has dominated politics, usually winning huge majorities in elections.
Before becoming president, Mr Pohamba served as a minister for land affairs. He oversaw a scheme under which some land that had been owned by white farmers since the colonial era was bought by the government, for redistribution to black farmers.

Mr Pohamba, 79, was named recipient of the 2014 Ibrahim Prize for Achievement in African Leadership at a ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya.
Mo Ibrahim is a British-Sudanese mobile communications entrepreneur and philanthropist who made billions from investing in Africa.
He launched the prize to encourage African leaders to leave power peacefully.
The prize was meant to be awarded annually but only three leaders have been deemed worthy of it since it was instituted, in 2007.
The inaugural prize was given to Joaquim Chissano, Mozambique's former president, who has since acted as a mediator in several African disputes.
The $5m prize is spread over 10 years and is followed by $200,000 a year for life.

A happy-looking Chris Brown pictured pressing against a fan, who seemed to have forgotten her panties at home, at his Between The Sheets tour 'meet & greet' event over the weekend. Chris is currently on tour with Trey Songs and Tyga and one of the options they gave to their fans is to buy a ticket which includes a meet & greet where fans get to take pics with the stars.

Well, this fan made sure she got every single dollar out of her meet & greet ticket by coming out with no underwear and backing it up on Chris Brown...so seemed very happy to oblige.
