PaigeIT(PIT) is an IT organization which is known as a trend setter and vanguard in computer aided education systems since 2010. For school projects, PIT offers its specially designed courses based on the underlying philosophy of merging our technical knowledge and experience to suit the learning needs of learners (Primary to Senior Secondary).

We are living in an incessantly evolving digital world. ICT has an impact on nearly every aspect of our lives -work, social, education, and even games. The digital age has transformed the way young people communicate, network, seek help, access information, and learn. We must recognise that young people are a major part of the online population, with computers, television,mobile phones, and various gadgets to aid them.

As technology becomes more embedded in our culture, we must provide our child(ren) with relevant and contemporary experiences that will allow them to successfully engage with the IT world, and prepare them for life after school.
It is widely recognised that pupils are motivated and purposefully engaged in the learning process when concepts and skills are underpinned with technology, and capable pedagogue.

• The objectives of the PaigeIT program are:

• Integrate technology with curriculum. 
• Improve overall quality of I.T curriculum and education delivery.
• Prepare learners for the digitally connected world.
• Officiate the IT curriculum of the School.
• To put the school in the list of leaders pioneering the efforts to create qualitative learning communities.
• Methodology shall include theory, practical and experimental ways of learning.
• Provide I.T education for the future– by making available the latest technology.

• Advantages of Using ICT in Learning-Teaching Processes

• ICT has positive impact on learners’ performances in primary schools, particularly in English language, and less in science.  
• Schools with higher level of e-maturity show a rapid increase in performances in scores compared to those with lower level.
• ICT resources achieved better results than those that are not well-equipped.  There is a significant improvement on learners’ performances.
• Teachers become more convinced that educational achievements of learners are due to good ICT use.
• Infact, 86% of teachers in Europe postulate that pupils are more motivated when computers and Internet are being used in class.
• ICT tools are very helpful, in that it makes assignments much easier for pupils. 
• Research also shows that ICT enables learners with special needs or difficulties. 
• It also helps to reduce the social disparities between learners, since they work in teams in order to achieve a given task.
• Pupils also assume responsibilities when they use ICT to organise their work through digital portfolios or projects.  
• In addition, the study shows that ICT has significant impact on teachers and teaching processes.

• Our curriculum for schools

PIT aims at realising the goals of the National Policy of ICT in Schools Education and the National Curriculum Framework. Given the dynamic nature of ICT, the curricula, emphasising the core educational purposes, is generic in design and focuses on a broad exposure to technologies, together aimed at enhancing creativity and imagination of the pupils.

For the teacher, it is an initiation into:

• Exploring educational possibilities of technology,
• Learning to make right choices of hardware, software and ICT interactions, and
• Growing to become a critical user of ICT.

For the pupils, it is an initiation into:

• Creativity and problem solving,
• An introduction to the IT world, and
• An opportunity to shape career pursuits.

Teachers who are already proficient in ICT can fast track through the course.

On international professional courses and examinations, based on availability of infrastructure and access, Pupils can begin as early as grade 6, in any case, completing the course before they graduate.

PIT charges a negotiable amount of N5, 500 (Five thousand five hundred naira only) per child, for the term which covers the following:

i. Tuition Fee
ii. Courseware Fee
iii. Faculty charges
iv. Evaluation Charges
v. Engineer cost and
vi. Certificate of Achievement.
