Congress party officials say their sources in London states that Femi
Fani-Kayode, the spokesman of the Goodluck Jonathan presidential
campaign, is organizing a paid protest against Gen. Muhammadu Buhari on
Thursday when he appears for his Chatham House engagement.
Fani-Kayode’s mission is to create the impression that Nigerians are happy with President Goodluck Jonathan, and embarrass Gen. Buhari before the international community.
The loquacious former Minister of Aviation, who was until fairly recently a member of the APC, has made many disparaging remarks about General Buhari since he emerged President Jonathan’s principal opponent and grew increasingly popular.
